Under the agreement, the Ramada Plaza Minneapolis will be recommended as a preferred hotel to University of Minnesota sports fans and visiting teams.

The Ramada Plaza Minneapolis announced Monday that it has signed a strategic partnership and sponsorship agreement with University of Minnesota Athletics.

Under the partnership, the Ramada Plaza Minneapolis will contribute more than $50,000 over three years in order to become a preferred hotel partner to University of Minnesota sports fans and visiting teams.

As a preferred hotel partner, the Ramada Plaza Minneapolis will be listed on the Gopher sports Web site along with its amenities, which include free shuttle service to and from campus sporting events.
